Written by and starring Kelly O'Sullivan, the film centers around 34-year-old Bridget who gets a job nannying 6-year-old Frances. The film wrestles with issues of abortion, faith, postpartum depression, personal relationships and what it means to become part of someone else's family. The women in the film talk with one another about themselves and issues that they're wrestling with. Bridget is the only woman in the film dating men, and doesn't talk about them much to anyone else.
