The two women (Emma and Kate) are both forensic psychologists and speak about the declining mental health of Emma and her inability to communicate the reason why to Kate. Throughout the film Kate is worried about her best friend (Emma) and initially covers her worries with humor eventually leading to a serious conversation and very serious consequences.
