Whitney and Natalie talk on a range of topics.

This rating is way off. It passes all three. Natalie speaks to her assistant Whitney about several non-male topics. Natalie expresses her disdain for romantic comedies while Whitney loves them. She also tells Whitney to stop watching movies at work and Whitney says she'll try to limit herself. In the alternate reality where Whitney is her rival, Natalie says it doesn't have to be that way and Whitney is nasty in return.

There may be more examples, but these are all I can remember off the top or my head. It definitely passes tho.

Natalie and Whitney talk to one another frequently. Early in the film, they talk about rom-coms. That could arguably be based in a conversation about men, so I'm not completely sure about the third component. It definitely passes the first two, though.

Natalie (Rebel Wilson) definitely talks to Isabella (Priyanka Chopra) and Whitney (Betty Gilpin); it's more up for debate if any of the conversations are *not* about a man, since they all either involve the mention of a man in passing, or the subtext is pretty clearly about men.

Natalie (the main character) and Whitney (her coworker) discuss romantic comedies for three minutes straight. And it's not only about breaking up the wedding and horrible portrayal of gay men, but also about the awkward clumsiness of the main female characters, about love not being the main thing in your life, about being satisfied with your career, about female coworkers always ridiculously hating each other and other sexist tropes.
I think they also speak in the alternative universe when Natalie tries to talk to Whitney and she apears to hate her. And maybe in the end, when everything got back to normal and Natalie makes Whitney promise she will never hate her, like in those stupid romantic comedies.

The rating is all wrong. At the VERY least, Natalie speaks to both Whitney (her assistant, Betty Gilpin) and Isabella (Priyanka Chopra). So there's no doubt that it passes at least two.

However it passes because Natalie speaks to Whitney about several things. In the real world, Natalie complains to Whitney about rom coms. She also tells her to stop watching rom coms at work. Then in the rom com world, where Whitney is her rival, Natalie is trying to express to her that they don't have to be rivals, and they argue about work. These are just the two I remember, but it definitely passes.

The main character and her assistent, who both have names, talk to each other many times about their job. And in the "dream," when her assistant becomes her nemesis they also talk about their job. So i think this movie SHOULD PASS.

The scene that makes it pass is when the two female co-workers (Natalie and Whitney) discuss the positives and negatives of RomComs

This movie passes the test with flying colours. The protagonist Natalie speaks with her friend Whitney about the genre of romantic comedies and about watching movies in the office; in the "alternate universe" they speak about their rivalry and friendship; Natalie also has multiple exchanges with Isabella, with her coworker girl who asks her to fix the printer, with a police-lady on the phone about what she thinks is a mugging in her home, and on and on.

I'm assuming the person who placed this rating made a typing mistake because it's impossible to see this film and think it fails!

Natalie and Whitney talk to each other about the ridiculous standards and expectations of romcoms at the meta-level, beyond personal relationships with a man. I find it hard to believe that the movie that is actually mocking the entire romcom genre is not passing the Bechdel test.

Natalie and Whitney talk about their job and friendship. This film definitely passes the test.

1. There must be at least 2 [named women] in it - Natalie and Whitney. Multiple other women are in it.

2. Who talk to each other - they do. I haven't finished the movie, but I know for a fact they talk to each other. Natalie also talks to the woman who wants her to fix the printer, the 911 dispatcher, and Isabella.

3. About something other than a man - they talk about romantic comedies, and in the alternate reality, Whitney talks to her about her job. She calls the 911 dispatcher about the whole mugging scenario, and the printer thing has nothing to do with men.

Whoever has the power to do this, try and delete this post and make a new one!

This passes easily and clearly
I’m about 20mins into the movie and tried to submit it as passed here
And typing this there’s already at least 3 longer conversations between Nat and wit that easily pass the test

First off, let's ignore the fact that I'm watching a movie while at work. Second, it sounds like you're still carrying trauma from your alcoholic mother. A good six to twelve months of therapy might help.
