The film does have two named women, just - Anne, and Bertolucci's partner who is named as Paola - but there is no interaction between them. Bérénice Béjo's character is credited as "Michèle" but I didn't hear the name in the dialogs. And even if she was named, I don't think Anne and "Michèle" talk about anything other than Jean Luc Godard.
