Two women escape from an asylum and have adventures. Their problems are centered around men but they have plenty of conversations not about them.

I agree with wootzits. But Donnatella's problems are mainly focused on her need to see her child again, while Beatrice is indeed focused on men. Plus there are more scenes featuring different female character constellations, like the conversation between the therapist and Beatrice, the working scenes in the asylum and the appearance of Donnatella's Mum.
