The Duke of Burgundy is about two women in a sub/dom romantic relationship. Despite the title (it's a species of butterfly) here are no male characters whatsoever. Many of the female characters are scientists.

This movie passes the test quite easily since it takes place in an alternate reality where men do not exist. Women talk to each other and will never bring up men in this universe because they would have no idea about any sex other than female.
