About an hour and 14 minutes into the movie, the characters Yuho and Isagi discuss the following:
- Yuho running away from her family in response to earlier events in the film
- Isagi's café and the numerous renovations done on the space
- Isagi's tourism aspirations beyond just being the town's announcer, as well as her motivations for getting into announcements to begin with
- Candid advice for Yuho
- Rumours that Yuho was eaten by the titular mermaid/ningyo of the movie, Lu
This is notably one of two Masaaki Yuasa films which Reiko Yoshida helped write on, as a side note.
