named female characters with speaking roles: Bev Bighead, Rachel Bighead, Nosey, Dr. Paula Hutchison, Mrs. Fathead (last being an in-universe fictional cartoon character). Also a screaming-only role for Crazy Aunt Gretchen.
Bev Bighead and Virginia Wolfe talk about the prior's "work" (an innuendo allusion to a breast job), with her reasoning being not appeal to her husband Ed, but rather simply being "firm". Virginia is silent.
There is a three-way flashback conversation where Rachel, pre-transition, speaks to both her mother Bev and her father Ed about the soul-searching that will soon lead her to her transition, though that she has transitioned is not known to the viewer at the time of this scene.
