Italia asks her daughter Colombina to do a few things (e.g. hiding before the woman who owns the house they live in comes back). Near the end of the film Fabiana has moved into Italia's commune and they make passing conversation about running it.

Flora (the aforementioned old woman) and her remaining daughters also discuss Flora's house and missing/dead daughter Beniamina multiple times though I can't remember if the sisters are named in the film
