Ida and Aisha talk to their moms throughout the movie about many topics and also between them.

Most of the main characters are female and, despite one of the sisters being non-verbal, there are many instances of dialogue between the various females that don't relate to the male characters. This is one of my favourite recent films and I've seen it a number of times, so I would strongly disagree that it passes the test.
